Next to Hyllie is a water tower that looks like a space ship. The train was cancelled so we took a bus across the bridge to Denmark, here is what the textile of that bus looked like.
Bus - Amager - Denmark
Being in a rented bus with a bunch of strangers, puts you in a momentary situation where you are a united group. Weather you like it a not - a bus is a group of people too.
Frisbees and galaxy inspired pattern was our group.
City Train - Vancouver, B.C.
Those donuts from Tim Horton taste so fucking great. It is pure cheap fat and bad sugar and it makes you go all Oh Canada inside. Tim is always there for you !
Airport Train - Vancouver Airport, B.C. Canada
I decided to go back. I crossed entire Canada twice in three days. 5 Hours flight, 2 hours ferry, a numerous hours of bus and train and car and waiting time and then all the way back again.
They call the City ‘The Shitty’ - it made sense at that point.
Lisbon Airport, Portugal - Bus
Arrows from a bow. Definitely arrows from a bow. Yellow and grey just makes a smash team.
Lisbon Airport - Portugal - Bus
Portugal, land of 3d rendering like buildings, free bar at 5 stars golf hotels and men in gold swim suits, and bus textiles that takes you 30 years back in time to a place where patterns on shirts and sweety black hairy armpits with strong male sent fills the air, with guitar rock and pink drinks. A pattern on a seat can really get your thought stream going when in portugal.
Airport train - London to Gatwick, England
Airport bus - Gatwick, England
It was a thrilling journey, first in an airport train then in an airport bus. The bus was filled with smelly teenagers and old grumpy men - I was one of the old grumpy men - it was hot and teenagers noise is not fun unless you are the maker of it yourself. But then I discovered the joy of the blue patterns on the seat. I might have forgotten for a few weeks, but then I remembered: transport textile design is a branch with so much depth and so little attention. I mean when is it MOMA is gonna make an exhibition of this contemporary time defining item ?
Nice one - is my comment to these two design deligths.
